Dear reader, hello and welcome to my blog post on Plotly Dash. This blog post is part of a series of blog posts through which I am showcasing some use cases of plotly dash as a dashboarding tool.

Introduction

In this example, I will showcase a retail sales dashboard using which business executives can perform the following exploration themselves:

  1. Compare the total sales, holiday period sales and the total number of stores for 2 different months.
  2. Do a deep-dive comparison of the weekly sales for 2 months to understand which weeks performed better in comparison to others.
  3. Find the stores with maximum sales for both months.
  4. Find the difference in sales for the departments with maximum sales.
